got a trivial question what approximate power in kw does a standard 2L kombi motor have ?

don't quote me on this but i think its 65hp which is 50kw. I imagine that it would produce gobs of torque though, perhaps 160nm from just above idle. I know that when I built a 1600 for my wifes car and ran it in the dyno that the hp was low (50ish) but the thing made almost as much torque as my (then) 175hp honda :)

torque = pulling power

Power = high end out put

A good example is the Honda S2000
Does 6 sec 0-100 and has 175kW power

To get the 6 sec 0-100 you have to launch at 9000 revs :o
