what is the difference between a s or sr or r tyre and also a c at the end.
185sr14 185 r14c
Only guessing but the S stands for Steel Belted the C stands for Canvas Belted and the R stands for Radial.
Ring one of the tyre shops ofr ring the distributor of the tyre.
the 'r' will denote that the tyre is a radial. I'm pretty sure the 's' is a speed rating- picking my brain, 's' rated tyres shouldn't exceed 170 kph, 't'= <180kph, then it gets confusing because it jumps to 'h' rated which is <210kph then you have your fast car W Y and Z ratings which are for 250kph+
