Has anyone done this if so how did you go about it ?
The floor pan i've got had another fuel line run on the other side of the tunnel to the brake line so I'm curious of why they did this. I
want to replace the original line for peice of mind and scrap the other add on .
cheers

They do replace the brake and fuel lines frequently in the UK & the US where salt corrosion is really bad...
but I have never heard of anyone replacing the fuel line in the tunnel... in Australia...
there is plenty of room in the tunnel for lots of fuel lines.... Copper pipe ???

A hotted up, big cc twin carb VW engine can use more fuel at full throttle than the stock fuel pipe can supply. You get a bit of a miss as the motor
starves for fuel, then it fixes itself when you back off.
The remedy is to run a larger diameter hose from front to back. This is a commonly done in building a fast VW. Perhaps that is what the previous owner
has done. If you run fuel injection, you can even use the small stock pipe for the fuel return.
I'm planning for a larger 2ltr engine later on but would be starting off with a 1776 both will run twin carbs but the 2ltr will obviously run
larger carbs
what size fuel line would be the best chioce to run? as I would not want fuel starvation later on or, would I be better running dual lines from the
tank? one too each side.
I dont think that running lager lines can over fuel the carb/s as the carb/s will only draw what it needs when it needs it, is this right or have I
overlooked anything
