Hi Guys,

I was just wondering if anyone knew of a really good sort of carpet glue that lasts for ever!
Thanks,
Tim.

Use contact glue in the Gel form.

You must get the old stuff of first or it wont stick.
take the time to do this and the glue will last:bounce:bounce

Cheers,
Tim.

Maybe drop down to a local auto trimmer and ask them what they recommend?

I heard Liquid nails or Araldite is good

I usually use Selleys, Norton or Bostik

Yeah getting the old glue off is the hardest part and can be a pain.

I've used selleys kwik grip or contact adhesive with excellent results. Follow the instructions and be generous about how much you use!

A good solvent will chew through the old glue. Paint thinners is my favourite.
