Finned alloy rear brake drums
speedster356 - November 7th, 2002 at 09:25 AM

I've just made up a set of faux 356 alloy finned rear brake drums using an old set of Datsun 260Z (I think) alloy drums. Machined the Datsun centre out and shrunk the finned section onto the type 3 drums.

Neat, think it will actually help cool the drums. Is there a good heat transfer from the steel to the alloy and do you brake that hard ;)

Cheers
Steve
