hey guys ......i wish to find out the correct year of my s bug......so i am looking for a vin number.....however the only number i can find on the engine is just above the lower belt wheel (AD347556) however according to a site i looked at on identifying VIN numbers this does not hav enough charecters........on the rego sticker it says it is 1971 however it has the vents behind the rear windows which i thought came later than that.......can u guys help me?

cmon guys someone must hav an idea

The vin number is located on the tunnel under the rear seat near the coupling cover.:bounce
