67 bug , should it have a sway bar or not?
ree
It should have one STOCK on the front end.
Aftermarket heavy duty ones are available from Vintage in Sydney 02-9789-1777
On the rear it should have what is called a Z-bar... only works when rear is fully loaded. Can be made to work full time by fitting extra rubber
bumpers to take up the slack 'lost motion'. A look at how they work will make it all self explanetary...

My 67 had a std swaybar on the front, think it was 12mm or something. No Z-bar on mine i think they came latter.Get a camber compensater on the rear and
a bigger swaybar on the front. It will handle a lot better but will still be crap.
Z-bar came out in 1968
