My Karmann Ghia has a noticeable suspension sag on the right hand side ( right side sitting lower than the left)
Is it something to do with torsion bars?
The car has been lowered; I have replaced shockers with no improvement.
(ignore the picture to the left!)
Maybe a bent trailing arm/spring plate or the torsion bar itself may have called it a day.When it was lowered did the torsion bars go back in the
correct sides?If not it can cause the torsion bars to snap because they are loaded up the wrong way(after many years being loaded up in a different
direction)

The car was already lowered when I bought it
(& it was parked for 15 years before that).
I'll get someone to check it out

Maybe one of the rubber bushes is rat-sh1t and collapsed.
Or when it was lowered, one side was lowered more than the other. It may just require a few torsion bar roatations to fix it.
I think you will find that the rubber inner n outer bushes that go on the trialing arm have deteriorated and need replaceing
This is not an easy job and requires some one who knows what there doning to do the job.
The bushes are relatively cheap but its
the labour that you will be paying for.
my KG was the same and i know of least one other with the same problem.
replace the rubber bushes and adjust the torsion bars. there is a vw tool for gaugeing the angle.
