a friend of mine is a mechanic and panel beater, he has built a few vw based trikes, i think he made them for oz trikes...

Hey there, a place called Thunder trikes they are located in St marys Sydney he uses a VW type1 engine and G/box they are a nice unit, he also has a super beetle with a 2.6 mitsu motor which has one hell of a wing on the back, it has steel flared guards and it runs. It also has disc brakes all round and he only wants $5000 for it.
