???RAG-TOP>>MOD PLATE>>Q.L.D???
Just got a new rag-top so I need some info from you guys here in Q.L.D. that have done mods to there bugs.
do I need a mod plate for this sort of job?
can I do this(I have can-opener!lol) or does a trades person have to?
if I got it done by somebody, how much would it cost roughly?
I though I saw a write up about it in a recent mag ,which mag was it?
any help would be great

I'm saving the Webasto for an Oval I am hoping to get in the future!
If you want to know what the regulations are I would telephone the State authority and ask them anonymosly of course!
Rob....
Used to think about anonomous phone calls to insurance companies but now they won't talk to you unless you quote policy no. and then they tape phone calls.....:o
No worries in NSW, I had a bit of a dissagreement with a bloke doing a pink slip for my brothers car that I did some repairs on, I rang the RTA and
they explained to me the regulation covering the repairs, I was right and the mechanic was just trying to make life hard for me and get some work at
the same time, when I told him I contacted the RTA and they told me what was what, he reluctantly gave in.
When I installed the Pop top in my Kombi I did the same thing, I just called and asked and never gave them my name!
