My generator crapped itself yesterday. After some running around Dx is a shorted field coil. 38 amp generators not easy to find so I splashed the $$ for the alternator kit from micks.

The mechanical side Im ok with.

Its what the wires on the regulator do, and which to use with the alternator that Im not sure of. Anyone got clues?
