I was having problems fitting my standoffs onto my 67 6v bug that has overiders. thanks for all the advise as i managed to get it sorted. I slacked off the bumper bar mounts on the body and jumped on the bar bringing it down about half an inch. Then slightly enlongated the holes on the bracket that holds the bumper bar and pulled that down another quarter of an inch. Hey presto it works although a little tidy up is required before they go on for good . How happy am i !!! It's the little things folks , the little things!
