6 volt to 12 volt converters

just wondering if you can still buy the 6 volt to 12 volt converters so i can run a couple of radios in my bug:cool:
or if anyone has one for sale:D

The only place I have seen them for sale was at the Swap Meet last Sunday near windsor. They had 6v to 12v & 12v to 6v...
I believe it was the same fellow I bought a pair of Bosch driving lights from...
I should have picked up his card.... Sorry..
He also had genuine "as new" VW radios etc...
Some one else must have them....

have you tried Dick Smith or Tandy??? you could even try RS Components. These stores sell most types of power supplies and convertors for hobbyists etc.

Its called a 6v to 12v inverter. Sold one recently on ebay. Just make sure you get one that can give your stereo the juice (amps) it needs. Jaycar is your best bet.

hate to get all technical... but not true.... an "inverter" changes DC to AC.
