engine size?

A freind of mine has a 66 beetle and it is suposed to have a 1300 in it.It's a single port and goes better than any 1300 that I know.I think that it probably has been turned into a 1600 how can you tell?The number under the oil stand is;F0582124 is this a 1300?

Thanks guys. I don't think he will pull it apart just to mesure it. If it ain't broke don't play with it I recon.If it started life as a 1300 it should be a good one then.
