My bro has been doing some research on this exact subject for a 69 bug. at the moment the average price is $1500 - $2000. that's for all panels sanded to bare metal or acid dipped - rust protection coatings... and then a paint job... one colour only, non-metallic. i dunno if he's getting the interior done as well though.. i think it's jsut engine bay, boot and all exterior stuff.
just goto http://www.yellowpages.com.au  and type in panel beaters, give em a call, they'll wanna see the car though.
