thanks modulus,it sounds tempting for the same money as rebuilding a vw 2l.anyone know the sought of ponies a 2l 914 puts out?

i think it's around 100hp for the stock fi model but it has less torque than a bus because of the different cam profile.

porsche heads have 3 stud intake manifold flange and are better then the 4 stud vw heads. the cam can be changed.

so do you have one in a bus like your name suggests?wats it like?cheers

Its just a name, i have a trusty CJ with EFI and a torque cam.

It dives ok. Even with stock carbies it did climb mount Ousley in 4th.

...but i still wish it had the better flowing Porsche heads.
