Tail light question, what year?
Herbie - March 16th, 2004 at 01:02 AM

Hey All,
I have a new Splitty, But I often have a new splitty so no one need be suprised!:D
My Question is this,
Why are my Tail lights low compared to other Kombies?
According to the West coast metric info my new Kombie is a Dec 59 Model, However I have been told that Aussie VWs can differ from the American information.
It has the original 9 Seats still inside and I am well immpressed with him, "WILSON" is his Name.
Can anybody clarify why and which models have just one tail light per side and why mine are low compared to most I have seen, the information seems a bit cloudy for me in this reguard.
Heres a pic Of Wilsons rear:D

mmm- something's NQR. Does it have semaphores or nipple indicators on the front? If semaphores its pre-59 and it should have a centre brakelight decklid.

If it has the nipple indicators on the front
its 59+ and it should have the round amber indicators on the back as well as the round red stop/tailights...

??????????????????????
