Can anyone tell me what the nit at the top of a Superbug Suspension Strut does. There are 2 types, one with a nut and allen key recess in the bolt,
and another with a square but to allow a spanner to go on there.
I think they are to allow you to soften/harden the damper, which is something I'd like to do, or is it there just ot remove the strut insert when
changing it?
Thanks
Steve

I pulled mine to pieces on the weekend (going to build some lowered ones)
"IF" i understand you right - all's i did was get a rattle gun on the top nut, held the strut piston/shiny bit (real technical huh!)
with some vice grips and took the top off. I dont think there is any adjustment there.
"which is something I'd like to do" - what are you after softer or harder?
Steve
Like all strut front suspensions, the flat or hex head is just for holding the piston shaft of the strut while you do up the nut which holds the end
spring cap onto the assembly.
no adjustment there, only with adjustable spring assemblies can you make the ride softer or harder.
