Im currently looking 4 a design for a centre console for a 71 superbug that will house a cd player, possible gauges, etc from the dash down and rear till just passed the gear stick
i was wondering if anyone has any templates or anything for this type of job or how do you get a cd player 2 fit in the center of the dash with out the wiper motor arm destroying the top of it, i cant have it more than 2/3 of the way in without it hitting my stereo

there are some around better off trying to design your own!! i know when i had one in my type 3 it was a pain in the arse cause i have size 16 shoes it was hard to get the clutch!!

Do u know how to stop the wiper motor arm from hitting the top of a stereo in the dash??????

I put a cd player in the dash in my 1970 bug a few weeks back, just ground down the bottom edge where the old radio was a few mm and wacked it in, haven't had a problem with the wipers hitting it, not sure if your wiper design is different though.
