Well I am about to embark upon building a new pan for my Manx, for those of you that made it to Fraser you will know why
Anyway the plan is as follows:
It's not your ultimate pan, it's your transitional pan. :repuke
I think you mean 944 stub axles.
I think a roof, and 2 doors would make it better
I wanted 181 stubs :cry
Are you already running a front beam brace ?
So what happened to the "Mega Manx"??
Are you going to buy another manx to drive while you are building to pan for the manx you are driving until you get the Mega manx going?!?! :alien
:P:P
Yes it is the transitional as I don't want to rush my other one.
Yes I already have front end braces
No I will not be buying any more Manx's , Buggies, or VW's for that matter, that is unless they are wrecks and I want the parts.
Brad, I'm just wondering why you're using an 1800 case and not the 2L?
Because the 1800 is very strong too(not as strong but still good), but has lower ratio's (diff ratio). So it has lower gearing for offroading.
That's why I went for an 1800. But soon I will have too much HP and am going to a 2lt.
Fair 'nuff!:thumb
Yeah that and the fact I gave my 2L box to some guy who wanted to use a V6 in his Baja :cry
Out of interest where are you getting the 181 parts from?
ebay / USA
I got the 181 parts from one of my Buggy mates in teh USA. Ebay prices are silly, I do buy the ball joints of Ebay though as the guy on there sells the german ones cheap.
