Check prices: they'll be able to give you an idea re air-freight usually via UPS & don't forget to allow for on charges in Oz- GST &
possibley an import tax dep. on the year of your car.
Time won't be a problem- my record is 9 (nine) days for KG parts from California!
sorry to hear about the screen.
good luck in finding one.
When you do I heard it probably could cost around $900 .
I suggest convertible specialties in long beach california. You can e-mail Dave on
wrig061@attglobal.net
I can recommend him as I have spent over a thousand dollars with him on cabrio roof parts over the last 9 months .He has everything you could need .
Ships straight away, you can track it ,pay by credit card. He just makes it all easy to do business.
Rick....
As its a flat screen, surely a windscreen company here in Oz can make one up for you? I have a 61 Karmann Cabrio thats got a stone chip in. In the
process of restoring it, I'm hoping to get a new screen made up. Luckily I've got the old one as a template. Maybe someone on here with a
late 60's early 70's cabrio in storage would do the honours. I'd gladly offer mine but I think its a lot smaller than yours!
Cheers
Steve
Karin, they have 2 new in stock at the moment.
$270 + $27 Gastapo Tax + shipping which should be about $80.
Better just call and confirm that it is the correct one.
He does not look like a RALPH to me
