The yanks are always talking about a bentley manual. its like their bible for VWs. Is it available here?

Yes, I have seen them for sale in Australia for $115...
they are actually the Robert Bentley [Volkswagen of America] Repair Manuals .. supposedly very good books... BUT .. they would be using all the VW special tools to pull things apart etc... they naturally aren't all that common in Australia .. but they are very good repair manuals and show You how to do everything... they are $39US in the US...
I wouldn't mind having one... I have 10 others!! You cannot have too many repair manuals.. You would be able to buy them from Amazon.com in the USA , also the same site shows used books for sale very cheap...
Its a shame We don't all take turns going to the US to shop!!

Great thanks, I knew it wouldnt be cheap, but must get one. Yes one of us should go once every half year. those who put in orders could donate for the plane fair. The way the dollar is at the moment its cheaper to buy from the states.
