could be lazy but looking at central locking for the beetle...... is it possible with the vw system...... chances are i will stick old school key hehe but just askin lol

Its a bit harder in a Pre67 due to the mechanism style, If you had the later door latches with the push button it will be much easier.

due to the older - non push button- locking mechanism...
if You did get it working, You may continually blow motors..
as the electric motors are only light and it doesn't take much to blow them...
My Son, who used to install them years ago when He was in Sydney, said I was asking for trouble if I put them in My Beetle with push button locking...
Unless there is little tension on the mechanism.. they either won't work or will only work for a short time....

ive seen earler cars were you remove the barrell lock all to gether and have no key just the central locking looks cool just pray the battery never gose flat in the car or remote
are thoes early ones w/o thebarrel locks the shaved doors?
i wanted to do that to my car but was told it'd be illegal.. incase of an emergancy no one can open door from outside.. i know it's been done plenty
in the US..
