Thrust bearing

if everything else is new, clutch, fly wheel, etc, and there is a slight shudder on take off, is that because I should have replaced the throw out bearing too?

could be wrongly adjusted

Bizarre - May 16th, 2004 at 07:40 PM

could be several things

Bowden tube set wrong
pressure plate warped
fly wheel warped
pressure plate not done up tight.

Dont think the throw out bearing would cause shudder though?

Would be more things to do with when the clutch plate come in contact with the pressire plate.

Throw out bearing is more when you put your foot on the pedal to engage the clutch

Everything is brand new, mounts the lot, I didnt realise the bowden tube could cause a shudder. that would be the simplest fix, fingers crossed its that. its only slight and if you get up it a bit it doesnt do it.
