oil pressure not vw

my jeep gets oil pressure spikes what would cause this to happen ?? oil is clean

if it is an electric guage a slightly loose wire somewhere can cause it , failng that does it happen when engine is hot or cold or both ?

The oil level is spot on .sender ok next the oil filter and presser relife valve a pcv valve , then I going to &#cking burn it !

did the oil pressure change when you changed the oil

I think I have found the problem .the stop on the dipstick has moved the service guys must of pushed it to hard and its moved on the rubber bush .I have now seen it just above the add oil mark on the stick .
Wankers at jeep ! I doing my own oil changes now !

I going to drain the oil then measure the amount of oil required .
