I have a webber 38 D GAS 044 , are these a good unit ? and would it be any good on a 1600cc twin port mild cam .?

My old man runs a 32/36 DGAV (progressive 2 barrel) on his 1641, and it is a beautiful carb. Very driveable and good economy, with no flat spots. I'm
not 100% sure, but I think the DGAS is a progressive 2 barrel but with a different choke mechanism ?

thanks doug this is correct .I purchased this carbi from south africa ,as i could not find one any were at the time in australia .I was building my
1641 motor .It has a manual choke on this one .
I will sell this as I have a stock 1600 now .
