Whats the go price for a new clutch cable and clutch tube?

There are different ones, what year do you need? Which tube are you talking about, the one near the gearbox?

yest he cables are different for the various years. In beetles u have Oval up to 60 then you have 40 hp to 67 then 1500 then s/Bug and so on.

Cable is $ 28 + GST + Ship

Outer tube is $ 19.00 + GST + ship

Just go to your local VW specialist. I got mine not to long ago for $15. No shipping involved.

Yeah I think I got mine the other day for about 20 bucks, mabey less, mabey more. Was cheaper than i though so I got a carby kit as well. Now I just need the time to put them in.

Thanks guys. The price is a nice surprize a lot cheaper than I thought. Will let you know what it ends up costing.
At that price you might as well carry a spare.
