As you live in Qld you are probabally lucky
The biggest problem in running singles on a T4 is the lack of heat and the width of the motor.
Fuel condensation is the problem.
A few people run the DFEV style of dual progressive with limited success.
Seriously - it will be a suck it and see learning curve. I will be surprised if you will find anyone that ghas used THAT carb.
Maybe an English site???
i would say 85% of people run the stock set up, dual solexes or injection with say 14% dual webers or dells and 1% aftermarket injection.
I reckon the hardes part will be getting a base/manifold to match
Still anything can be made to work.
Kim is running a dual DFEV set up at the moment

yes I am running dual 32 DIR 's on adapted standard manifolds , & they barely cope as far as freezing venturi is concerned, if you think about
it, this is the real reason for the central idling system.
I would not run a single of any type on a T4 motor
that is why type 1 motors have heat risers - & their manifold is shorter
yeah thanks guys, something to think about. I will have to suck and see. I have the single manifold with adaptor and a good supply of these webers as my brother has these type of Webers as standard on his Citreons.
