69 Bay bits for 60 Split.

apparently bits from a 69bay (irs, steering.. etc) are handy for a split bus.. i have been told that 68-69 are the only years for these bits.. have an opportunity to pick up a 69 complete, and I would not mind irs for my split.. suggestions?

the front beam sells over your way for $200.00 > $500.00
in perth the go for around $80.00 > $200.00
I dont think the rear irs is any good for a split conversion ?
