VVDS wide 5 discs

just wondering if anyone has an update on the progress/specs/availablility of these aussie made wide 5 disc brake set up?

do they come with dropped spindles?

i ve also been told that they narrow the front track... any ideas how much?

....$?

i presume birchall will have the latest.... ?

i rang them up recently and i think they are just waiting on the place that casts them i think???

they narrow the front end by a couple of mm's.

although i think i will just do a pan swap and get the later factory brakes instead of the VVDS ones

I asked Boris about them in May when we were in Penrith for the Forum show. They are being designed to have the large 5 stud pattern and also keep the wheels in the original spot as the drum brakes. Most disk brake conversions make the wheel stick out further. Wheres Dave Birchall. VVDS has been posted and theres no response. Come on Dave. Put the crownie down for a second will ya!:vader

yeah i think they are trying to keep the kit under or around $1000

No they will not come with drop spindles

the discs are still in the machine shop.

Track will be same as stock.
