bay seats in a split here are some facts

i took some pictures of both seats today to do a comparison, the mounts are the same place if you looka tthe pics you will see what needs to be changed if you want to stay close top a split looking seat mainly it involves cutting off a few bits and pieces 1st pics are the tops you could cut them off anfd weld a couple of small pieces in here so they will take the split type top rails

unless you are going for a concourse stock resto i would say a modified bay seat would be better and stronger you could pull out the cross brace closest to the door ,the others you would not see to easily(the middle two would have to stay) and maybe weld up the holes in the middle two legs as the rego man may ask for bolts if there are holes
