Are single side plate gearboxed better and why? I have been told this and just want to see what the consensus is?

The standard single side plate box is an L bug box.

It has a 3.88 ratio rather than a 4.33?? ratio. More suited for the 1600. Better for cruising.
I think it is stronger inside but i will let some expert out there give that blessing

I think it gets confused with a rhino box which is another single side plated box that IS stonger inside.

Look at the graph to compare the ratios.
