VDO Tacho Question

Does anyone out there know what position these switches need to be in to work on a 4 cylinder engine?
I think it is set for a V8 @ the moment

i take it you dont have the manual??
nothing marked on the back??
have you tried changing them to see what happens??

nah the one in me bus isn't a VDO

no mate, no manual
nothing on the back
I's not hooked up to try the multiple choice option
but that gives me somethin else to do.
now I'm done

does it have any serial numbers or model numbers on it?? then you could do a search on the net for info on it

i dont think this will help you cause mine only has 3 switches and its left to right the switches go up,up down. i suggest contacting vdo for the set up of the switches, their site is http://www.vdo.com.au

I have two of these, not installed as yet..
Came from Beetles and the 4 is Down.....

What do the High & Low connect up to??

I presume You only connect one to the coil???
