I have already had it lowered and it sits too high in the front end. I got it lowered in melbourne and it had the shims removed is this dangerous and what should I do it cost me $500 can I make it lower and if so how do I do it. Thanks for your help guys and girls.:cry:cry

Is it a Super Beetle or a torsion bar front end Beetle...
Big difference...

Super Beetles are way too high at the front....
but they should be easier to lower...
as they have coil springs. but when lowered, that is the height You are stuck with.. with torsion bar beetles You can wind the front up or down whenever You want to...

If it is a standard torsion bar Beetle, You can adjust it up or down with a couple of spanners...
and I have used castor shims on My torsion bar Beetle...
