has or is any one out there running a petrox ignitor in their vw? ive looked in to these but only heard bad things about them so let me know your experience
Been running a petronix one for 3 years with no problems whatsoever. Have had problems with the Accu-Fire version, but it was down to the wrong
selection of coil!

I'm running a Pobjoy 8 plug pointless ignition, have a sqwiz at Valla. gotta love the shocked look on peoples faces when they try and figure out
what's going on in the engine bay.... :P

I have been running Pertronix as well for 12 months in my Kombi. No problems at all.
I've had a Pertronix for a couple of years with no probs. I got it for a good price from the US. I put the details on recently so a search should
find it, if you're interested.
(Or you could wait for the Free Trade Agreement and get it for free! :P:P:P)
