hey i was wondering what the specs are of an 1800cc kombi motor. and what year kombi they were out of.

any help would be appreciated.

1800 is approximately late '73 to early '75. That is, 1974 model year.

I have a '74 bus, and a spare 1800 motor in unknown condition. I've had some problems - weird inexplicable power losses, rough running, etc, but still almost no oil leak - ie, between changes I never need to refill oil. Cool hey, for a VW!

Sorry I don't know any more off hand: the Haynes manual for the 1.7-2 litre kombis has heaps of specs and stuff.
