on sunday while i was down under the car i noticed that i have a oil leak between the cyclinder head and the barrel. I normally give the engine a degrease every 2 weeks to make cams ppl happy at races, so there is normally very little oil ont eh engine. It occured on teh right rear cyclinder, what could cause this?

Loose head nuts, pulled stud, or poorly machined heads.

mmm that all just sounds expensive. But yes seagull, that could be the cause:thumb. I will have a good look and see what i can find. The engine only hs about 30k on it and was rebuilt early 01. so its only just iver 3yrs old. Mabye its time for a strip and rebuild
