hey all

New to the forum, new to owning a vw, but evem tho ive only owned Kikko for a few months i've already noticed that the 1600 doesnt have enough grrrunt!

has anyone got any cheap solutions? just need to give her a bit more of a kick. not too huge and certainly not too expensive.

Nothing simple and cheap will give you the sort of increase that I think you looking for. Just changing the exhurst or distributor or evan different carby set ups don't make big noticebal increases, the engine is probably worn and needs a freshin up.

The old 1600 is no where near as powerfull as a new other car.

The only way is to pull it apart, and thats when it starts getting expensive, because the you start finding other things to address.

Other than that join a club, where you'll become evan more confused, or
