Chroming

Got a question that has probably been asked and answered numerous times before.

What can you chrome and stay legal? I know that there are rules about chroming suspension parts, but where do they start and finish? I mean for things like trailing arms? Steering arms? front beam? etc

Before you state it, yes I am a numpty when it comes to this and I am perfectly willing to admit I don't know jack about it all:)
So any advice would be good,
Cheers

Yeah,
am trying to determine what can and can't be done... safely.
I don't want to have certificates and xrays done, just nice simple stuff.

So whats the guess on the beam? yeah or nay?

And yeah, that dude likes CHROME (said in best dutch voice!!)
