Looks like i may have found a new project and want to find out a little more in where i go for parts etc before the deal is done.

Car is a 65 1500 s Notch and could do with a light resto. I'm really looking at service parts , trim , seals , lenses etc. Also where to source extractors , tuning parts etc.

Is there a web site or club that is into early notches or will i have to source through normal aircooled places.

Bare in mind it's a UK website. things like extractors are available from most VW shops I just bought some from Mick Motors. The best source for type 3 parts in Aus is right here.
Before I got my notch i new buggar all about type 3's just keep your eyes and ears open and you should be able to pick up most parts.
