Sorry if this has been asked before, I tried the search function and couldnt find anything.

Basically i just want to know if a 1977 Kombi with the 2L engine would take unlead petrol, or does it need valve saver additive? I.E does it have hardened valve seals?

yes, no , mabye , no. Um many different school of thoughts. But basically, as I understand it

1- no need for LRP
2- Use ULP, or many people prefer PULP
3- Some ppl do and some ppl don't use a lube

personally I don't but then engine normally only goes 18months before a rebuild, as i want to modify something, or break something.
