hi, can anyone help? can anyone tell me if it is possible to put a 70 model 1500 body onto a 70 model s'bug pan???
No, The superbugs have a Macpherson Strut suspension front end, and your 1500 standard has a Beam front end.
HTH, N!
anything is possible BUT....... the cost and effort that you would have to put into it would outweigh any benefit :duh
so yes it can be done but take it to a profesional as its not a backyard job:o
nope

I know of a fellow in the US did it many years ago....
but only for drag racing....
Both cars are the same - up to the door hinges ---
the front suspension of the 1302S & 1303S Beetles is bolted to the BODY..
the front suspension of a standard Beetle is mounted to the CHASSIS.....
A BIG Difference.... fuel tanks included...
that is why You can still drive a [standard] Beetle chassis ....
but with a Super You would have NO front wheels etc....
