it has a 65 vin looks like a 65 but it has ball joint (it had a sun roof if that helps 'boged up but):duh

Wacked1, it is an Oz built 1966 if 1300 badge is original.

If it was a 1967 the engine lid would have a "1300 Deluxe" script and a 1965 would still be a 1200. The rest of the car looks like it is a '66 as well.

Desert Moose's is a '65 imported "rest of the world" Beetle. German made Beetles went to ball joint and larger windows in '65.
