Thats from a pretty old manual by the look of it...
It should jog the memory of people who don't service their VWs too often...
When greasing the front end of a Beetle & type 3 etc..
Jack the front wheels off the ground then apply grease to the 4 grease nipples.... until grease starts to come past the grease seals... You can wipe
the excess grease off or leave it there... it doesn't do any harm...
Most tie rod ends are Not regreaseable any more....
remember to use the best grease - Lithium based Moly grease - its even available at BIG W....
