How much should I expect to pay for a set of disk brake BJ dropped spindles - the good ones (forged) not el-cheapo ones?

Also: Have people found that the 2.5" drop is enough?
(ie: satisfied or have perople had to drop more?)

Lot's of looks but noone knows?

vintage have them for just around $600.

i am getting a pair soon combined with a 3inch narrowed beam and adjusters.

hopefully that will make it low enough.

the beam i already have, a mate narrowed it for his 67 but he went with a different option. so i picked it up for $100 plus swap with my old beam.
