T3 van owners, want intermittent wipers?
Menangler - November 14th, 2004 at 03:51 PM

All '85 to '91 T3 vans can have intermittent wipers, and for for free!!,

I am sure the dealer charged a packet for this option!

This is all you have to do, remove the plastic steering colunm surround, top and bottom, If you look at the the blinker switch, you will see a small white plastic clip, just remove it with a small screw driver, this is put there to stop the intermittent feature from working, all the relays wiring and switch is there, just the clip stops the wiper switch from going to intermittent.

I feel sory for the guy I bought my twin cab off, he could have had intermittent wipers all this time, for free!!

Barry,
Pull the covers off and have a look?

Nathan, if you have a 36hp engine you oval could probably do with the optional cruise control, remember the type, same for a splitty.
one on Ebay a couple of years ago!!

Maybe you are only missing the intermitant relay, thats why it dosen't work?
