Hey fellow T3'ers!

I have a problem with my bonnet release on the square.

I pull down the lever from the glove box but it doesnt pop-up!
To release it up a little requires someone at the front of the car pushing down on the hood.

Im thinking something is out of alignment of that the lever isnt moving the release enough.

Im looking for ideas for alternative release levers / pulls handles.

Anyone got an answer to my issue of know of anyone who has fabricated a different release handle?

With the bonnet open get someone to slowly move the lever, while you look at the lock, if it dosent move almost at the 1st touch of the lever tighten the cable. Also give the cable lube job by undoing it and drop some oil down it while holding it up higher than the lever.

Its not a bad idea to run a hidden cable throught the spare wheel well just in case you need to get in if the cable ever breaks.
