type 3 carbs-replacement

got a squareback,69,twinport 1600,stock engine.carbs are giving grief.set up correct.play in bottom throttle spindles/housing.i rekon only way to cure is new carbs.anybody recomend to go for stock replacements or something a bit better.any suppliers or prices.i,ve heard of dubbers putting non stock carbs on and the car has run pretty bad,or difficult to set up.appreciate any of your expert input.cheers. I have the same setup on my 69 square, but I dont know what carbs I have, do you?

I have a set of dual pict28's and a pair of pict 30's too, I wonder if either would be suitable?

i,ve got 32 pdsit-2 and-3. fitted which i rekon are the right ones,they just run bad sometimes,under load.ok at idle:cry

the only markings I can find on mine are 'Solex' and '22', '12v' stamped on them, cant see around the backs.
