I seem to be having trouble getting the tubes on Daisy to seal properly.

Have changed the O rings but after a couple of months it seems to be weeping again and drops a drop of oil.
Nothing major - just a pain in the bum. I have parking spot in a new bldg at work and it is pretty obvious which spot is mine.

I havent put new tubes in. That is my next step.
Any tricks to putting them in??

I always use a little(LITTLE) bit of silicon sealer or permatex on the o rings. If the pushrod tubes are straight you shouldn't have any troubles with them sealing properly, as long as the engine side where they push in and the heads are also clean. Good luck

I have always had trouble making mine oil tight as well. They don’t leak enough to cause drips, just make the bottom of the motor damp with oil.
As Mick say’s use some sealant. I have always installed mine with grease as the orings are pushed in/out as the motor heats and cools which wears the orings.
Also check the surface they sit on is clean and not damaged, and that the oring doesn’t get cut during installation.

my local vw mec allways gets up me for using silicon on my pushrod seals he says that the seals are designed to roll as the engine expands and shrinks with heat ,makes sence
but every time i dont use it they leek!
i cover the whole seal with red gasket sement i'm two years into this motor and no leeks.
i think he just hates cleaning the stuff off.
