currently doing a resto on our 58 KG...

During its life it has been fitted with a later model steering column; the type with the ignition incorporated into it.
For the sake of originality I want to fit the old type column; i was thinking old beetle.... until I read on the Samba that KG steering columns are longer.

does anyone know about this and better still, does anyone have an old Karmann Ghia steering column & indicator unit??

Try Max from Dandy Volks in Melb, I am sure he would have one
